Daily maintenance and upkeep of biogas torch system

Aug 07, 2025

The biogas torch needs regular inspection and maintenance, and the inspection and maintenance cycle can refer to the following table:
Flame arresters are safety devices used to prevent the spread of flames from flammable gases and liquids, as well as to prevent explosions caused by backfire. The flame arrester is installed in the middle of the flange and is generally connected by a flange for easy installation. In order to ensure the flame retardant effect and ventilation capacity of the flame arrester, it is necessary to regularly inspect and clean the impurities on the flame arrester core when installed on pipelines with high impurities (such as biogas). The most commonly used method is to blow with compressed air, remove the corresponding flange bolts, clean them thoroughly, and then reinstall them. The cleaning frequency depends on the condition of the pipeline, and our company recommends cleaning once every three months. If the flame retardant core is damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid affecting product performance.

The maintenance signal indicator light is used to remind operators that the ignition electrode has been ignited 3000 times or the flame detector has been detected for 8000 hours. The maintenance signal indicator light is always on, indicating that the ignition has reached 3000 times; The flashing of the maintenance signal indicator light indicates that the detected flame has reached 8000 hours.
